TecLogTalks: 5 Questions to Roland Eibl, Project Assistant

Hello Roland Eibl, what does your daily work with us look like?

Roland Eibl

As a project assistant, I work closely with the project managers. Following their instructions, I manage emails and the daily schedule. My daily tasks also include making phone calls to companies and processing orders.

Those are already a few of the tasks. Which challenges keep you engaged beyond a normal working day?

In general, I am responsible for procuring tools and equipment and ensuring their availability. I also manage, coordinate and control these resources. In addition, my role extends to facility management, where I oversee the planning, coordination and execution of construction projects on the site. This includes courier trips to construction and installation sites.

How do you recharge your own batteries to overcome all these challenges? How do you start the day?

My social environment, including sports, hobbies and work, gives me energy. This allows me to be enthusiastic about what I do and to enjoy planning and carrying out the tasks assigned to me independently.

What is the biggest challenge you have overcome? What strategies did you use to get there?

The renovation of the building and grounds through extensive construction work was a challenging project, as it had to be completed within a limited timeframe. Thanks to clear structures and effective management of my responsibilities, as well as excellent cooperation with colleagues, companies and authorities, we were able to meet this challenge successfully.

Finally, do you have a personal tip for us to stay motivated?

Starting the day with positivity, presence, and a social mindset!
