Last week, our recruiting department attended the HR event of the year: Indeed FutureWorks 2024 in Munich, where experts from the recruiting field gathered to discuss the future of the labor market. The event focused on key topics such as the inclusion of international and employees with disabilities.
Diverse Sessions and Focused Discussions
The Indeed FutureWorks event team organized a variety of formats, including keynotes, panel discussions, and specialized breakout sessions. These covered a broad range of topics, from solidarity and human rights to wellbeing at work and age diversity in companies. Among the many exciting topics, we chose to focus on AI in recruiting and strategies for international hiring, aligning with the shift towards Industry 4.0.
Key Insights on AI and International Recruiting
For our first focused breakout session, we chose to hear Norman Mauer speak on “1086 Days Since 3.5,” providing valuable, practical insights into how ChatGPT is transforming the recruiting process as a journey of innovation and growth. Later, Cora Bacanji, Kathrin Bücheler, and Christian Freund provided strategies for international recruiting. Against the backdrop of global talent mobility, it became clear how employers can attract and retain international professionals in the long term.
